Vice President of Operations MRO

Performance-driven leader of aviation with management experience with global corporations.  Experience in production maintenance operations with progressive levels of technical team management responsibility.  Strong team-building and problem-solving abilities in time-sensitive, federally regulated environments.  Leader with a proven track record of constructing and leading cross-functional teams to meet corporate customers’ diverse operational needs while meeting or exceeding key performance indicators.
Job Summary:
Accountable for Repair Station performance, key performance indicators, and P&L responsibility. Day-to-day oversight for operations as well as planning, engineering, tooling, facilities, and back shop departments.  Ensure proper staffing for the facility as well as tooling requirements.  Work directly with FAA from our FSDO as well as all customers to ensure compliance. Accountable for Safety and Compliance for the operation, managing Directors, and Managers with maintenance employees.
Essential Job Functions:
·         Drive efficiency gains and cost reductions efforts to achieve the annual              budget
·         Work with Quality procedures and manuals to ensure compliance with                Company standards
·         Review sales, operational metrics and activity reports, and other                        performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to         determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
·         Coordinates customer on-site visits with other facility management to                ensure optimal impact
·         Cooperatively works cross-functionally with other management to                      ensure appropriate allocation of resources and manpower
·         Preemptively identifies negative trends and creatively works to achieve             win-win solutions with other management when conflicts occur,                          balancing program requirements with resource constraints
·         Effectively addresses customer concerns and obtains solutions such                  as reallocation of resources, revised schedules, or modified                                 contractual specifications
·         Expand the professional development of the site leads and high-                        potential employees
