We’re looking for an experienced Transmission Line Engineer to lead the design and analysis of high-voltage transmission systems ranging from 69kV to 500kV and above. In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects from concept through construction—developing transmission line layouts, performing structural and electrical analyses, and ensuring all designs meet strict safety and regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing technical direction and problem-solving support throughout the lifecycle of each project. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to critical energy infrastructure projects that power communities and drive grid reliability.
The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of experience in transmission line design, a strong understanding of NESC, IEEE, and ASCE standards, and proficiency with tools such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and AutoCAD. A Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one is preferred. Beyond technical skills, success in this role requires clear communication, strong project management abilities, and a proactive mindset for continuous improvement.
