We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support complex nuclear infrastructure projects for Department of Energy and government clients. This role is responsible for leading systems engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams, with a strong focus on requirements development, management, verification, and compliance. The Lead Systems Engineer will serve as a technical integrator, working closely with internal engineering teams, clients, and external partners to ensure project requirements are clearly defined, controlled, and satisfied throughout the full project lifecycle. This position plays a critical role in delivering advanced nuclear facilities and laboratories in highly regulated environments.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in systems engineering within DOE projects, including hands-on use of requirements management tools such as DOORS or Cameo, and a strong understanding of DOE orders, nuclear safety standards, and configuration management practices. This role requires technical leadership, interface definition and control across engineering disciplines, and the ability to manage change while maintaining requirements compliance. Strong communication skills, experience leading technical teams, and a working knowledge of nuclear facility infrastructure and design processes are essential for success in this role.
Compensation: $73.00/hr
