Job Description
PDS is looking for a Sr. Linux Architect / Support Engineer:

Qualifications:
- Linux administration (advanced): Hands-on experience with enterprise Linux (RHEL/Alma, Ubuntu, or SUSE), system, storage, filesystems, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Automation & DevOps: Proficiency with Ansible (or Puppet/Chef), scripting in Bash/Python, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI/Jenkins).
- Security: Solid understanding of OS hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, access controls (sudo/SSH), SELinux/AppArmor, and secure configuration baselines.
- Networking: Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS/DHCP, routing, firewalls, and network segmentation relevant to factory/OT environments.
- Observability: Experience with monitoring/alerting and centralized logging for Linux systems at scale.
- Applications & tools: Familiarity supporting engineering/manufacturing tools (e.g., LabVIEW, TwinCAT, Ansys), plus standard enterprise services (AD/Entra ID, O365, AV/EDR).
- Customer focus & communication: Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills; able to prioritize, execute, and communicate clearly in fast-moving production contexts.
