About The Role:
This role is a fantastic opportunity to work as an embedded resource with one of the largest Utilities in the United States. This position is responsible for providing real-time technical expertise and technical support to substation maintenance and construction crews for high-voltage substations.

About The Role:
This role is a fantastic opportunity to work as an embedded resource with one of the largest Utilities in the United States. This position is responsible for providing real-time technical expertise and technical support to substation maintenance and construction crews for high-voltage substations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and event investigations
- Provide Project Engineering for emergent projects such as replacement of equipment
- Liaise with Engineering, Design, Construction, and Maintenance teams to ensure timely communication and appropriate prioritization
- Be a champion of Safety and regulatory compliance
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience and expertise with substation equipment such as power transformers, circuit breakers, instrument transformers, protective relays, and SCADA RTUs preferred
- Experience and expertise with substation equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement preferred
- Up to 20% travel to substations may be required
- BS in Electrical, Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or other relevant Engineering discipline required. Engineering Technology degree with relevant experience may be considered.
