Sr. Network Engineer
Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their NOC Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset. This is a full-time, M-F, 8-5 role with occasional evening/weekend work and participation in an on-call rotation (every 9 weeks).

Sr. Network Engineer
Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their NOC Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset. This is a full-time, M-F, 8-5 role with occasional evening/weekend work and participation in an on-call rotation (every 9 weeks).
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support network infrastructure, including routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi controllers.
- Design, architect, and troubleshoot routing (MPLS, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and switching (EtherChannels, VLANs, Spanning Tree, etc.) topologies.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues remotely, often under time constraints.
- Manage network incidents, firewall, VPN, and other security-related tasks.
- Document and explain network topologies and technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification.
- 8+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting network devices (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points).
- Expertise in firewall configuration, network protocols (SSL/TLS, DNS, DHCP, etc.), and enterprise-level infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of 802.1q VLANs, fiber optics, wireless technologies, and VPN/load balancer/firewall integration.

- Ability to work under pressure and handle time-sensitive network issues.
