Sr Full Stack Engineer
Compensation: DOE
The Senior Full Stack Engineer serves as a technical resource and participates in all phases of the development life cycle. The Senior Full Stack Engineer analyzes business logic and technical challenges and will shape and deliver the Company’s future. The Senior Full Stack Engineer analyzes, configures, and tunes applications and is knowledgeable in digital technologies. The Senior Full Stack Engineer supports development standards and general best practices for development. This work will be accomplished within an Agile methodology or other methodologies in support of a Continuous Delivery pipeline with frequent application releases. This position works closely with application developers, business analysts, infrastructure engineers and QA engineers through all stages of the software development process to ensure that all systems meet organization standards and end-user requirements.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supports development of the next generation of responsive web applications.
• Analyzes, configures, and tunes digital applications.
• Builds applications across a full stack of technologies (NodeJS, Angular, AWS, Serverless)
• Designs component solutions that minimize maintenance and increase speed to market.
• Leverages new technologies to develop and solve problems to achieve business outcomes.
• Works cross-functionally with various teams including Integration, QA, Operations and the business to help drive results.
• Supports with solutions throughout the IT organization to deliver on business objectives and initiatives.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in software development.
• 5+ years’ experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release, and operational support.
• 4+ years’ experience with NodeJS, Angular, AWS Lambda, Serverless.
• 3+ years’ experience with databases including SQL Server, DynamoDB, S3
• 3+ years’ experience managing CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Git, Jenkins, and .YML
• 3+ years’ experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Chai)
• 3+ years’ experience with agile scrum software development methodologies.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact with IT personnel and Product Owners on all levels to resolve complex issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Ability to interact effectively as a leader and as a member of a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
• Capable of prioritizing and managing assignments, tasks, and projects to completion with minimal supervision.
• Ability to maintain a detail-oriented approach while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with Angular Framework, Nx, Monorepos, Micro front ends, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Adobe Analytics.
• Experience working with AWS, SQS/SNS, Lambdas, Kinesis Firehose, CloudWatch, Splunk, and CloudFront.
