Job Description
Sr. Data Architect / Engineer
Characteristics:
- Has built a Data Lake in AWS (Bronze, Silver and Gold)
- Has software engineering experience as an AWS Engineer, Glue ETL jobs and scripting in Unix
- Can architect but can also actively implement
- Can help define best practice security models into data architecture and data lake
Technical Skills:
- Data Catalog: AWS Glue (Catalog as well as ETL knowledge)
- DB: Redshift, Timeseries, RDS, Neptune. Postgres and specifically replication to RDS
- Storage: S3, NFS (nice to have)
- OS: Unix/Linux
- Analytics: Sagemaker, Athena, PowerBI
- Data Formats: CSV, Parquet, Protobuf and Timeseries
