Job Description
Sr. Cost Estimator
As a Senior Cost Estimator, you'll lead and contribute to the development of Total Installed Cost (TIC) estimates, applying your expertise in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) practices. Your responsibilities will include coordinating technical teams, gathering essential information, and utilizing approved estimating methods to prepare accurate estimates.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in estimating TIC for EPC projects, with a focus on DOE projects.
- Strong understanding of quality requirements such as NQA-1.
- Proficiency in EPC estimating practices, particularly DOE G 413.3-21A, Cost Estimating Guide.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and effective time management abilities.
- Experience in supervising staff while also being an individual contributor.
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems and proficiency in Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field experience in engineering, procurement, and construction support, including startup and commissioning.
- 15+ years of Federal Government experience.
- Demonstrated experience in areas such as Nuclear Waste Treatment, Energy Industry, Utilities/Balance of Plant, and Clean Energy.
