Job Description

Compensation: DOE
  Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot

  • Deploy and manage microservices in Kubernetes environments

  • Integrate distributed systems and messaging pipelines with Apache Kafka

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and systems engineers

  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices
Required Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework

  • Hands-on experience with containerized applications using Kubernetes

  • Working knowledge of Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems

  • Experience with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Experience in ground systems, satellite operations, or mission control software

  • Proficiency with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)

  • Understanding of distributed systems and fault tolerance patterns

  • Passion for space, aerospace, or mission-critical software
