Job Description
Compensation: $130K - $140K, DOE. Relocation offered
Title: Quality Control Manager (on-site)
Job Description:
Oversee a coatings facility and be responsible for ensuring that products manufactured and shipped meet our customers’ specifications for performance and quality. Candidates will continue to commitment to enhancing operations, expanding product offerings, and serving our customers better.
Key Responsibilities
Directly supervise the facility Quality Control Specialists, Color Match Associates, and Applications Associates.
Provides oversight and management of all QC Lab related functions, including both to other members of the management team, customers, and suppliers as required.
Maintains close working relationships with all levels of the organization, projecting an image of collaboration and support to foster a interactive team environment.
Promotes awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
Promotes and uses the elements of IATF16949 by being familiar with its philosophy and disciplines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other physical science degree OR 5 + years equivalent experience.
- Five years of experience in a lab/quality control environment for a production facility.
- People management experience with direct reports.
- Experience operating analytical lab test equipment and performing testing.· Experience with liquid coatings chemistry a plus.
