Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and driven Quality Assurance Tech II to join our team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a natural problem-solver, and someone who takes pride in the details. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Hardware Development Engineers and Test Engineers to support the integrity of our production environment. Throughout the development lifecycle, you will identify use cases, design and execute test cases, and deliver clear, actionable results.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical testing environments
Minimum 3 years of experience in hardware testing, validation, or reliability engineering
Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, Arduino, SOLIDWORKS, and Fusion 360
Demonstrated ability to independently execute complex test plans with minimal oversight
Strong electro-mechanical aptitude with proficiency in tools, measurement devices, and data acquisition systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The Quality Assurance Tech II is the central point of contact within the Hardware Test Engineering Team, providing critical support to Mechanical, Electrical, Software, and Automation teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include test plan execution, test fixture assembly support, data analysis, sway table proficiency testing, strain gauge monitoring, and maintenance of active test floors. You will be the driving force that keeps operations running smoothly and ensures the team delivers high-quality results consistently.
Compensation: $45/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and calibration of test equipment and test fixtures
- Set up and execute tests, experiments, and verification activities for system components
- Conduct sway table proficiency testing across multiple pod configurations and design iterations to simulate lifespan and validate structural integrity
- Perform daily observation, inspection, and strain gauge monitoring of pods under duress to identify hardware stress points
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test documentation
- Collect, analyze, and deliver test data; author formal test reports
- Provide structured test feedback to cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements
- Partner with internal teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and process issues
- Support design and test engineers during prototype builds and development phases
- Handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion
