Job Description
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent networking certifications
-
Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience
-
Strong IP networking fundamentals and extensive hands-on experience with IP protocols
-
Deep expertise in major internet routing protocols, particularly BGP and OSPF
-
Advanced knowledge of major router platforms, including Cisco 37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, and 76xx, along with associated supervisory and line cards
-
Excellent network analysis capabilities and strong troubleshooting skills
-
Significant experience with many of the following protocols and technologies:
DWDM, T1/DS1, DS3, SONET (OC3/OC48), 802.2/3, 802.1D VLANs/STP, IPv4/IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPsec/VPNs, NetFlow, DNS, HTTP
