Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to help translate engineering concepts into real-world hardware that is ready for test, qualification, and flight. In this role, you’ll work closely with design, test, and operations teams to develop clear work instructions, optimize build sequences, and support the entire manufacturing process from fabrication to final assembly. You’ll be hands-on in supporting technicians on the floor, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring all hardware meets strict quality and performance requirements. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving problems at the intersection of design and production.
The right candidate will bring at least 3 years of direct manufacturing engineering experience, with strong knowledge of fabrication, precision assembly, and testing methods. You should have a proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, create and refine work instructions, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce cost. Experience in aerospace or launch vehicle manufacturing is highly desirable, though a background in other high-precision industries will also be considered. If you have a passion for building high-quality hardware, collaborating with diverse teams, and driving improvements on the production floor, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
Compensation: $60.00/hr.
