Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Senior Full-Stack Engineer to play a key role in developing and scaling our clinical applications. In this position, you will have direct influence over product features and architecture, owning the full software development lifecycle—from design and prototyping through deployment and continuous improvement.
You’ll work across our rules engine, natural language processing capabilities, and microservices architecture to deliver secure, scalable, and high-impact healthcare solutions.

You’ll work across our rules engine, natural language processing capabilities, and microservices architecture to deliver secure, scalable, and high-impact healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-performance microservices within a PHP/Laravel ecosystem

Build and maintain secure, reliable RESTful APIs for internal and external use

Develop modern front-end components and user interfaces using React
-
Implement features supporting clinical workflows, rules engines, NLP, and service-oriented architectures

Prototype, test, and iterate quickly in an agile development environment

Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices including code reviews, testing, and TDD

Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and clinical stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions

Participate in DevOps processes including CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and performance optimization

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security standards, and healthcare interoperability requirements

Required Qualifications
-
Meaningful-use certified EHR experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
-
5+ years of professional experience with PHP and object-oriented programming
-
3+ years of experience with React and modern JavaScript frameworks
-
Strong proficiency with the Laravel MVC framework
-
Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservice architectures
-
3+ years of experience in healthcare technology, including standards such as FHIR, CCDA, HL7, and coding systems like ICD-10, SNOMED-CT, RxNorm
-
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
-
Strong background building and integrating RESTful APIs
-
Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (OAuth2, SAML)
-
Solid understanding of encryption, data privacy, and HIPAA compliance
-
Experience with Git, unit testing frameworks, and test-driven development
-
Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and DevOps best practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment

Hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, or NLP in production environments

Proficiency with Python

Self-starter with strong communication skills and comfort working in evolving environments
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary range: $130,000–$150,000
