We are seeking a Manager of DevOps Engineering to lead the design, automation, and support of large-scale cloud environments. This role will focus on building reliable, secure, and scalable systems while guiding a team of engineers in modern DevOps practices. We are seeking a Manager of DevOps Engineering to lead the design, automation, and support of large-scale cloud environments. This role will focus on building reliable, secure, and scalable systems while guiding a team of engineers in modern DevOps practices. The right candidate will bring technical depth, leadership skills, and a passion for driving efficiency across development and infrastructure operations.
What You’ll Do

Lead a DevOps team responsible for delivering highly available and performant cloud-native solutions.

Design and refine CI/CD processes to improve speed, security, and reliability of deployments.

Champion infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and automation to reduce manual overhead.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability practices to ensure production readiness.

Partner with engineering, QA, product, and security teams to streamline delivery pipelines and remove bottlenecks.

Mentor and coach engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally.

Balance team priorities across projects, support, automation, and incident management.

Deliver a developer-focused platform that enables self-service deployment and monitoring.

Expand adoption of modern release strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling).

Improve system visibility and resilience through proactive monitoring and telemetry.

Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to align on delivery goals.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or related roles, with at least 3 years managing people.

Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Proficiency in CI/CD platforms like GitLab, Jenkins, or CircleCI.

Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace).

Understanding of API management platforms (Apigee, AWS API Gateway).
