A leading energy organization is seeking a Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable, cloud-based data solutions supporting enterprise analytics and real-time operations. This position plays a key role in building modern data infrastructure that powers decision-making across exploration, production, and business intelligence functions.
Key Responsibilities

Architect and maintain robust, automated ETL/ELT pipelines and data architectures across on-prem and cloud environments.

Integrate and manage data from diverse sources — including IoT, operational systems, and external APIs — ensuring consistency, quality, and reliability.

Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to develop actionable data products and dashboards.

Implement best practices in data modeling, governance, and automation within a modern data stack.

Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to continuously enhance the enterprise data ecosystem.

SQL & Python proficiency for data transformation and workflow automation.

Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud data services.

Strong knowledge of Snowflake, Databricks, or similar warehousing platforms.

Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or Matillion for orchestration and data integration.

Background working with energy industry data (production, drilling, SCADA, etc.) highly preferred.

8+ years of professional data engineering experience.

Proven ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Strong analytical mindset with a focus on scalability, quality, and innovation.
