Contract to hire 
Tempe, Arizona 

A seasoned Business Systems Analyst with 5+ years experience. As a Business Systems Analyst you’ll be responsible for the support and maintenance of Financial Systems, HR systems, and related applications including Microsoft Dynamics GP, Core Integrator, Journyx, ADP, iCIMS, and other business systems. In this role, you will focus primarily on driving process improvement through automation and digital transformation. You will thrive in this role if you are able to work independently to drive improvement in a fast-paced environment and change direction rapidly when priorities and deadlines shift.
 
What You’ll Do:
  1. Work independently to administer, configure, and maintain ERP software (Microsoft Dynamics GP), HR systems (ADP, iCIMS) and supporting applications and platforms
  2. Work closely with management and end-users to drive business performance through process automation
  3. Coordinate and work systems service requests on a daily basis, creating and updating all tickets in ticketing software; conduct follow up calls; perform tests and troubleshooting; escalate when needed
  4. Work with business teams to prioritize enhancement requests; leading prioritization meetings and delegating/executing on the requests as defined.
  5. Investigate, inquire, and inform of trends in technology and recommend and work with management to implement solutions that will enhance processes and efficiency
  6. Perform system upgrade tests and resolve system problems and issues prior to implementation of new or enhanced interfaces, and provide support to impacted areas by working with other Information Technology (IT) support teams and user areas
  7. Be responsible for creating and maintaining SQL integrations between systems, using SmartConnect, SSIS, or other integration tools as required, and execute on new reporting requests using SSRS or other reporting tools.
  1. Play a role in facilitating change management processes and controls, adhering to SOX compliance requirements
 
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, or related field
  2. 5+ years of relevant experience with ERP's. HR, and other business systems
  3. Strong understanding of Accounting and HR functions
  4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present products/deliverables/analysis/issues confidently to various groups in the organization
  5. Possess an analytical mindset, with a depth of knowledge in the maintenance, process enhancement, and troubleshooting of business systems, and the ability to understand a situation or problem and think critically to make decisions or come up with solutions
  6. Be comfortable managing upward, including being a proactive communicator and asking for help when needed
  7. Have confidence and be able to establish valuable relationships with others
  8. Must be able to prioritize key tasks and have a strong sense of ownership over your work
  9. Be active in seeking out ways to continuously improve yourself and gain new knowledge
  10. Demonstrated proficiencies with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel 
  11. Ability to create integrations using SmartConnect, SSIS, or other tools as needed
  12. Ability to perform SQL querying to extract data and understand output of data analysis
  13. Experience with MSSQL databases, Transact SQL querying, SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS
 
Things That Would be Great if You Brought to the Table:
  1. Experience with SmartConnect integration software
  2. Experience with Windows PowerShell Scripting, Visual Studios, and/or Windows Server 2019 including Terminal Services and IIS configuration

  1. Be able to work outside of standard business hours, on occasion, as applicable
  2. Be a US Citizen
