We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within the utility and power infrastructure market. In this role, you will build relationships with investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, cooperatives, and public power organizations while uncovering new opportunities for engineering, design, asset management, and program support services. You’ll shape and execute market strategy, identify high-value prospects, and lead the pursuit of major consulting engagements—including multi-year service agreements, program contracts, and strategic partnerships. Success in this role will come from staying ahead of industry trends such as grid modernization, T&D upgrades, distributed energy resources, and resilience initiatives, and turning those insights into compelling value propositions.
You’ll collaborate closely with technical and engineering teams to understand capabilities, develop differentiators, craft winning proposals, and ensure smooth handoff of awarded work. The ideal candidate brings a strong network in the utility sector, a proven record of securing significant consulting or engineering contracts, and the ability to manage a robust pipeline using CRM tools. This position offers the opportunity to represent the firm at key industry events, expand market presence, and play a critical role in achieving revenue, margin, and client-satisfaction goals.
