Sr. Business AnalystÂ

We are seeking a detail-oriented Acumatica Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between our stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into functional specifications for Acumatica ERP implementations. You will analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and configure Acumatica to meet client needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of Acumatica ERP functionality. This position requires both business acumen and technical knowledge to ensure successful system implementations that align with client objectives.
PROJECT INFORMATION:
This role will be primarily working to further develop the Acumatica ERP implementation
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders for Acumatica ERP implementations
• Configure Acumatica modules to meet client business needs and processes
• Create detailed functional specifications for developers to implement customizations
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality meets requirements
• Provide training and support to end users on Acumatica functionality
• Map client business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using Acumatica
• Create and maintain system documentation including user guides and standard operating procedures
• Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on timelines and resource requirements
• Assist with data migration planning, mapping, and validation
• Troubleshoot and resolve business process issues within the Acumatica system
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and client stakeholders throughout implementation
• Stay current with Acumatica updates and new features to recommend improvements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
• 2+ years of experience with Acumatica ERP as a business analyst, consultant, or power user
• Strong understanding of business processes across multiple functional areas (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, etc.)
• Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and business process analysis
• Proficiency in configuring Acumatica modules and features
• Knowledge of reporting tools including Acumatica Report Designer and Generic Inquiries
• Experience with data mapping and validation for system implementations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Acumatica Certified Business Consultant or equivalent certification
• 5+ years of experience with ERP systems, including at least 2 years with Acumatica
• Experience with multiple Acumatica implementation projects
• Knowledge of SQL for basic data queries and analysis
• Understanding of integration concepts and methodologies
• Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques
• Background in manufacturing, accounting, finance, or supply chain management
• Experience with project management methodologies
• Knowledge of change management principles
• Prior experience in a consulting environment working with multiple clients
