We’re seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist III (B Shift) to join a fast-paced, mission-driven team building precision components for groundbreaking spaceflight systems in Kent, WA. In this hands-on role, you’ll be setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment—including 3, 4, and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes—to machine complex, high-tolerance parts from materials like Inconel, copper, titanium, and aerospace-grade aluminum. Working directly with engineers and programmers, you’ll help shape production strategies and ensure first-pass success on critical hardware that supports human spaceflight initiatives.
Ideal candidates will bring at least five years of experience machining aerospace components, strong GD&T interpretation skills, and a deep working knowledge of controls like Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol. Familiarity with machines such as Mazak, Hermle, Kuraki, or DMG Mori is a plus. You’ll also collaborate on process improvements, contribute Design for Manufacturing feedback, and ensure that parts meet exacting standards. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the future of space exploration. U.S. citizenship or equivalent legal status is required.
Compensation: $46.67/hr
