Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to enhance our data capabilities using the Palantir Foundry platform. In this role, you will lead data ingestion, curation, and ontology hydration efforts, establishing standards for data pipelines, ensuring high data quality, robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and precise data classification. You will create and implement patterns for Change Data Capture (CDC), incremental loads, and streaming data, and design DevOps practices to ensure operational excellence and high availability of data services. The role involves mentoring other data engineers and driving data pipeline delivery and self-service consumption. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, and strong skills in data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Palantir Foundry. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Java, SQL, and familiarity with AWS is preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, and experience in aerospace manufacturing is a plus.
Compensation: $80.00/hr
