Job Description

Industrial Engineer II
Join our dynamic team of specialists and technicians to develop integrated manufacturing systems for advanced space propulsion. You'll partner with manufacturing and facilities, leveraging Lean techniques to innovate and streamline production processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and execute opportunities for data, tools, equipment, and workflow automation, directly impacting the future of space exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage manufacturing-related projects.
  • Reduce cycle time and lead time for assigned work centers.
  • Provide production support, including scheduling, defect analysis, and resource allocation.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Enhance operations through ergonomic and human factors considerations, capacity planning, and more.
  • Conduct value stream analysis and design efficient manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in factory flow, process modeling, and simulations.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and value stream mapping.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Python, R, SQL).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced degrees (Operations Management, Construction Management, MSE, MBA).
  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP), Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing and scaling operations from low to high volume.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes.

Compensation: $45/hr
