Test Engineer III
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer III to join our team. In this role, you will develop and execute test plans and procedures for flight hardware, focusing on shock, vibration, thermal, humidity, and vacuum testing. You will verify high and low voltage distribution, power regulation, and conversion hardware through rigorous testing and documentation. Your responsibilities will include debugging hardware and software issues, supporting hardware integration, and contributing to design reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans and scripts for various environmental tests on flight hardware.
  • Conduct verification tests and document results for power distribution and regulation hardware.
  • Support hardware integration and test activities, including wiring and test bench setup.
  • Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a lab environment.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing feedback on integration and testability.
  • Communicate development status, risks, and challenges to management.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in testing and troubleshooting electronic hardware, including high voltage and power regulation systems
  • Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuit design and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of signal integrity, power, grounding, and board layout principles
  • Experience with C++ and/or Python programming
  • Proficient with NI Labview / TestStand
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications:
  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with large-scale avionics verification for autonomous spaceflight systems
  • Familiarity with electrical design and analysis tools (LTSpice, PSpice, SIMetrix/SIMPLIS, Simscape)
