Are you passionate about space exploration and eager to contribute to groundbreaking projects? We're seeking skilled Mechanical Designers to join our team at in Merritt Island, Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create 3D models and drawings using Creo and Windchill software.
- Collaborate with engineers and maintenance specialists to develop equipment, facilities, and schematics.
- Provide input on schedule and technical requirements to design teams and internal customers.
- Ensure structural product definition accuracy by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs, and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain data depicting engineering designs and facilitate proper file management.
- Experience with Creo and Windchill.
- Proficiency in mechanical and weldment design, component integration, and large CAD assemblies.
- Familiarity with ASME drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident.
- Experience with other CAD packages such as Catia, SolidWorks, etc.
- Knowledge of steel shop drawings and fabrication.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in model development and drawing creation.
