Are you passionate about making a significant impact on space exploration? We're seeking an Industrial Engineer II to join our team in executing field time-motion studies on processes involved in chemical processing, precision cleaning, and inspection of aerospace hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct time-motion studies and data analysis to identify areas for improvement in operations.
- Provide input into the design for studies, manage study schedules, and ensure proper data collection.
- Develop ad hoc queries and reporting for tracking and monitoring operating performance.
- Consolidate and validate industrial engineering models.
- Lead manufacturing-related projects and operations improvement initiatives.
- Provide production support, identify process improvement projects, and facilitate system integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing in a production environment.
- Demonstrated ability in manufacturing and/or facilities planning.
- Proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and manual data analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Advanced degree or certifications in Operations Management, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Experience in manned space flight production and project management.
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and experience with manufacturing organizations and supply chain.
