Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking a Component Technician I to join our team for A, B, C, and D Shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and passivate hardware using various methods including solvent/chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning.
- Safely handle hardware using overhead cranes, hoists, and associated lifting equipment.
- Utilize titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct solvent/chemical systems.
- Inspect hardware using visual, UV light, borescope, microscopic particle count, and high-precision weighing methods.
- Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment.
- Perform maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, and scales.
- Conduct general housekeeping of the work area and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and technical aptitude.
- Ability to lift items up to 40 lbs. and operate lifting equipment for heavier hardware.
- Initiative, strong work ethic, and ability to follow directions.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in software systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Prior experience in precision cleaning of aerospace, medical, or other precision components.
- Experience inspecting aerospace mechanical components or fluid systems.
- Knowledge of applying coatings to aerospace components.
