Position: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Hybrid work option in Denver, CO

Compensation: $130,000 - $165,000 annually DOE

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our innovative team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the electrical systems of spacecraft, focusing on control systems, power management, and communication with Earth. This includes developing systems to navigate and analyze space resources, ensuring the spacecraft's functionality and safety during missions.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop the spacecraft's electrical control systems, power supply, and communication systems.
  • Own all aspects of electrical design, including component testing and integration.
  • Lead the design and testing of control boards and power systems, including solar arrays and batteries.
  • Ensure system compliance with safety standards and operate effectively in space conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems and resolve technical challenges.
  • Guide junior engineers and technicians, promoting knowledge sharing and technical excellence.

Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the U.S., ITAR compliant.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems design and analysis, particularly for space missions.
  • Proficiency in board layout, schematic design, manufacturing, and full lifecycle testing.
  • Experience with EMI/EMC testing, system integration, and various electrical system analyses.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic team environment.
