Senior Embedded Flight Software Engineer
Location: Broomfield, CO
Type: Full-time, Hybrid (3+ days onsite per week)
We’re looking for a Senior Embedded Flight Software Engineer to help build the next generation of spacecraft. In this role, you’ll own embedded software development end-to-end—bringing up hardware, writing C/C++ firmware, implementing fault management, and supporting in-orbit updates.
You’ll work across avionics, GNC, propulsion, and other engineering teams to ensure spacecraft systems perform reliably in orbit. This role is a great fit if you thrive at the hardware/software boundary and want to make an impact on real flight missions.

What You’ll Do

Develop and debug embedded software on ARM-based microcontrollers

Implement telemetry, command handling, bootloaders, and update mechanisms

Support real-time control for actuators, sensors, and power systems

Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate and test flight-critical systems
What We’re Looking For

Strong background in embedded development (C/C++, RTOS, hardware bring-up)

Experience with system integration and debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes)

Proven ability to design reliable, fault-tolerant systems

Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and software lifecycle best practices
Compensation & Benefits

$150,000 – $180,000 annual salary (DOE)
