My Client is looking for a Senior level CICD Engineer with years of hands-on experience in a corporate setting. This is a contract position with the possibility of converting to direct.
My Client builds rockets and launches spacecraft and satellites. A major plus is someone who is a Geek/Nerd for space (as in outer space) or infrastructure.
This is a Hybrid position in Centennial, CO.

- Terraform
- Ansible experience – creating, maintaining
- Python
- AWS
- Bamboo – ideally, or experience with other comparable CI/CD platforms
- Working knowledge of Make/CMake
- Creation of secure containers in support of development activities
- Docker / Jenkins
- Linux Systems Administration
Overview:
As part of software engineering’s development and sustainment of software capabilities, the client requires configuration and development of pipeline tools to support the program's software development and testing.
Tasks to be performed:
- Bamboo, BitBucket and GitLab Configuration in support of Customer requirements
- Orchestration in AWS and provisioning of EC2 instances and additional services in AWS (e.g. RDS, S3 buckets, EBS volumes, Cloudwatch, VPCs, etc).
- Provisioning and configuration of infrastructure via Terraform and Ansible
- Provide Incident Management, After Action Reporting and Lessons Learned for CI/CD and pipeline tooling
- CI/CD pipeline tool configuration and optimization in accordance with flight and ground software requirements, which include interfacing with:
- C++ compilation
- Python scripts
- Perl scripts
- MakeFiles / CMake
- SonarQube
- Unit test frameworks (google test)
- Custom component tests
- Conversion and migration of on-prem Atlassian Bamboo-based pipelines to GitLab on AWS
- Creation of secure containers in support of development activities
- Analysis and remediation of security findings in containers based on scan results
Required skillsets:
- Linux administration, bash/shell scripting, python or similar, log troubleshooting, build/compile stages
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS services
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Ansible (ideally both)
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD), and DevSecOps
- Strong knowledge in Docker
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
